Free Signals, Costly Broker: An Altiryus Signal-Group Recovery
A free Telegram “signals” group told the Toronto developer exactly which broker to use to act on its calls: Altiryus. The signals were bait; the deposits to the “partner” broker were the point. He reported it within a week — and that speed changed everything.
IntakeHow the subject made contact
The group was free and full of “verified” wins. To act on the signals, members had to sign up with the “partner” broker, Altiryus. He funded the account with ETH and a card top-up.
Altiryus is on the GEInvestigator ledger. The signal group earned only when members deposited where it told them to.
Point of compromiseWhere control was lost
His early trades “won” on screen, but withdrawals stalled behind endless “verification.” The funds had gone to an operator wallet and a single exchange deposit — and, crucially, had not yet been cashed out.
He brought the case to us six days in. That window is the reason this file reads the way it does.
“The signals were free, which should have been the warning. They only made money when I deposited where they told me to.”Claimant statement · Case GEI-2026-0429
Evidence chainHow the recovery was built
Linked the group to the broker
Tied the signal group’s “partner” requirement to the Altiryus deposits.
Traced the ETH deposit fast
Followed the crypto to the operator wallet within hours of intake.
Found the single cash-out point
Identified one centralised exchange deposit holding the balance.
Filed the freeze before cash-out
Submitted the trace and a Canadian fraud-report reference for an urgent hold.
Recovered almost the full balance
The exchange held and released the funds before they could move.
DispositionWhat came back
CA$62,200 of CA$66,900 was returned — because the report came in within six days, the funds were still sitting at one exchange deposit and were frozen before cash-out. Speed is the single biggest factor in outcomes like this.
